Without a doubt, targeting your hormones is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.

Most people think of weight loss as a simple calories in calories out model.

But if this model were true, then why are you having problems losing weight and keeping it off?

Because the formula is obviously much more complex than this.

Calories are important, yes, but focusing on calories while excluding hormones which direct the flow of calories in your body is silly.

Balancing your hormones is a direct path to weight loss because certain hormones tell your body to burn your calories instead of store them as fat. Other hormones directly regulate your metabolic rate or how many calories you burn at rest, and other hormones act as the lock and key to your fat cells.

The hormones that I’m talking about are, of course, thyroid hormone, insulin, cortisol, leptin, and your sex hormones.

The key to long lasting weight loss for anyone who has a problem with these hormone systems is to balance them!

And that’s exactly what my 60 day weight loss program does.

Does this work with Hypothyroidism?

Yes! This program was originally designed specifically for those people who suffer from hypothyroidism or low thyroid function.

I quickly noticed that the biggest complaint from hypothyroid patients was weight gain and the inability to lose weight.

I also found that addressing underlying hormone imbalances, improving thyroid function, managing stress, assisting with detox, and using non conventional weight loss practices such as intermittent fasting, worked very well for people with these problems.

I created my weight loss program with one goal in mind:

To target the hormone imbalances that hypothyroid patients face that make losing weight impossible.

The result is this weight loss program that has been used by over 2,400 patients to date.

Does this work for Hashimoto’s?

Yes! Not only will the therapies listed in this program help improve thyroid function but many of them will also improve immune function.

It’s not directly designed to reverse Hashimoto’s but the result of these therapies may actually help reduce thyroid antibodies and treat the root cause of Hashimoto’s in many people.

The reason is simple:

  • Autoimmunity can stem from gut related issues and many of the therapies in this program help support a healthy gut
  • Weight loss therapies such as fasting can help reduce inflammation and support healthy immune function
  • The supplements that I recommend in this program contain ingredients that are required for healthy immune function
  • Optimizing thyroid function with the use of thyroid medications (discussed in my weight loss program) may also help reduce thyroid antibodies
  • Improving fat storing hormones such as leptin and insulin may have a positive impact on immune health and thyroid function

So while this program isn’t designed to lower your thyroid antibodies, some people with Hashimoto’s notice that as a pleasant side effect while they lose weight.

Does this work for those with Thyroidectomy & RAI?

Yes! This program can work for those without a thyroid or in those who have undergone radioactive iodine ablation but there are a few things you should know:

The first is that once your thyroid has been removed your weight loss will be much slower compared to someone who has their thyroid in!

This doesn’t mean losing weight is impossible but it does mean that you should adjust your expectations when using it.

The second is that once your thyroid has been removed you are more reliant upon thyroid medication compared to someone who has their thyroid gland.

This means that adjusting your thyroid medication dose may be required for you to lose weight and this usually means you will need to add some sort of T3 thyroid medication to your regimen.

My weight loss guide contains information on how to use T3 thyroid hormone for situations such as this.

And lastly, once your thyroid has been removed you will need to be more aggressive in your weight loss therapies compared to someone who has their thyroid gland.

What does this mean? It means that you will need to take full advantage of all of the therapies listed in my program.

Some thyroid patients can lose weight just by taking the supplements that I recommend, adjusting their diet, and using intermittent fasting.

Others will need to take full advantage of the exercise routine, detox program, advanced weight loss medications, and adjustments to thyroid medications in addition to supplements, diet, and fasting.

If you no longer have a thyroid or if it has been ablated by radioactive iodine, then you will need to use more of the therapies listed in this program.

Does it work if I don’t have a Thyroid Problem?

Yes! While it was designed for those with thyroid problems (that’s who I tested it on), the principles will work for anyone and here’s why:

It’s more difficult for thyroid patients to lose weight compared to the general population because of how thyroid function impacts the metabolism.

With this in mind, a weight loss program for thyroid patients will have to be more robust and more comprehensive compared to one that targets the general population.

So if this weight loss program works for people who have a hard time losing weight it will also work for people who don’t fit into that category.

Program is working good so far with great results

I started the 60-day reset program after receiving all my supplements. It’s only been 1 week and I have already shed 5lbs. I’m impressed. What I truly appreciate is the knowledge I gained reading through the materials and watching the info videos. I research a lot so I have seen and read many materials out there with bits and pieces of info, so I really appreciate discovering Dr. Childs guide that is very comprehensive, (plus topics new to me but so glad he outlined) and available in one easy to follow format. I’m optimistic and looking to complete my first round of the 60-day program and closer to my goal. Thank you Dr. Childs for all you do for and give to your customers.

Good but . . .

I started the diet 2 weeks ago yesterday. I’ve lost 5 lbs, although I really hoped that it would be more. I am glad that I am seeing some difference though. I think the recipes are great and everything that I have cooked so far has been great. However, the weight loss menu and meal plan is not user friendly. I’d prefer the recipes to be all together and not by the week. I am going to go through an re-organize them by type and see if that works better for me. There is just a lot of prep work and chopping and it is not conducive to quick & easy, which is difficult when you work full time, have a family to take care of and other things.
